Tip No. 1:

The Wind Blows Free, But Not if Furniture is in the Way

Many homes today are heated and cooled with Heat Pump systems. The discharge air temperature of these systems is not as warm as a fossil fuel system(gas, oil), therefore air flow is very important to level of comfort your heat pump can deliver. Not to be mistaken, air flow is very important for ALL forced air heating and cooling systems, but it matters much more for heat pumps. Be sure to keep furniture and drapery out of the way of supply air registers and return grilles.
